Michael Susten is a recent graduate of the University of the Arts, where he earned a BFA in Jazz Dance performance. Upon graduation he was awarded the Choreography Prize. Michael is currently the creator and director of the Xhale Dance Company, and has shown work in the past three Philly Fringe Festivals, the Choreographers Canvas (NY), The Koresh Artist Showcase, The Kimmel Center and will be presented in a showcase hosted by the Barre Boys this April. Michael graduated from Philadelphia's High School for Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) in 2005 where he was dance captain of the CAPA Dance Company, and was awarded Jazz Dancer and Choreographer of the Year at graduation. He has performed and choreographed at the Boscov's Thanksgiving Day Parade, including a Pre Show Performance with American Idol's LaToya London. He was one of thirty dancers chosen to attend the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts, where he was a Modern Major. Since 2006 Michael has been an employee of the Walt Disney World Resorts in Orlando Fl., where is continues to perform in the shows and parades.
